Paul Young - Behind the Lens

These days music stars of the 1980’s seem to appear in a lot of reality TV shows in an effort to revive their dwindling career. Unfortunately, even their surname can mislead people into thinking they are at the height of their youth.

Take, for example Paul Young. He was just 22 when he started releasing records. One of his classic tracks was a re-working of a Marvin Gaye number – ‘Wherever I lay my hat (That’s My Home)’.

This summer the song is 40 years old and remains one of Young’s breakthrough tracks. Here is the song in its entirety –

Paul has chosen The Blackburn King George’s Hall for his home on Thursday 23rd March 2023. ‘Behind the Lens’ will see Paul perform all his classic hits from 7pm onwards.
