The Japan Foundation Touring Film Programme 2023/Experience Japan Through Cinema

Japanese films have a history of either being overly dubbed or constantly subtitled. However, if it is done well, it becomes a movie of cinematic perfection as each character develops in the stories told by the professional actors and actresses in the given film.

From Monday 13th – Monday 27th February, the Home Arts Venue in Manchester is opening it’s doors to a season of films collectively known as ‘The Japan Foundation Touring Film Programme 2023/Experience Japan Through Cinema’.

It’s an opportunity to experience archive and recent releases from the Japanese production team.
