Eurovision Song Contest

Eurovision Song Contest

Dates: 09 May 2023 - 13 May 2023

Location: M & S Bank Arena - Liverpool

Last year UK entry to the Eurovision Song Contest brought it home with Sam Ryder’s anthemic song ‘Space Man’. Despite not winning it was the UK’s highest position in the contest since Katrina and the Waves back in 1997.

It was the tortured country of Ukraine that ultimately won. With the ongoing war zone organisers felt it would be more appropriate to allow the second place to be host nation for the 2023 contest.

Take a look at this short film to see that it’s not the first time this has occurred -

The semi final will take place on the 9th and 11th with the grand final being televised around the world on 13th May 2023.

Yes, Liverpool will be the host nation and this is great news for the city, with regards to boosting trade and job opportunities, especially in the hospitality sector.
