It’s amazing to think that when British band Roachford had completed their self-titled debut album in 1988 there was one particular song they kept playing at the end of the set.

Frontman Andrew Roachford had reservations about calling it ‘Cuddly Toy’ and the general consensus in the band was that it was never going to be hit.

However, it was a commercial hit having reached number four in the charts at the closure of the 1980’s. Over 30 years since it was released radio stations still have it on their playlist and it’s just as popular now as it was in 1988.
