It's only the 7th December and we're already feeling a sudden increase in festive based songs played on the radio. Even if we can't escape them in our cars, home or workplace, they are being played in cafes, pubs and restaurants.

 

We may be getting tired of hearing these old songs so it's good to know there's an event take place early next year that is the perfect escapsim from novelty tracks. 

 

Djangobop take their audience on a journey to a simpler time, a time of hedonistic cafe life on the streets of Paris where Jazz could be heard in its rawest form until the early hours.

Djangobop will be performing live in the Snug at The Continental pub on South Meadow Lane - Preston - Thursday 19th January - 7.30pm - Free Entry. 

 

This unique band celebrate America’s greatest art form the way the Europeans chose to, on string instruments, with a glass of wine and an attitude reserved for those in life who accept they are outcasts, and care little for the fact.
