Blackburn Festival of Light 2022

Usually when large crowds gather together it's to protest in unity about something they feel strongly about. 

 

However, the Blackburn Festival of Light Parade is a peaceful gathering of creative people who illuminate the town centre with their decorative masks and bright clothing. 

 

Last year it celebrated it's 10th anniversary. Take a look at how people came together to enjoy the evening - 

This year's theme is birds so expect creative artists to have collaborated on an air borne display. 

It take place on Saturday evening 17th December 2022 in Blackburn's busy town centre.
