As autumn is rapidly ending we are soon about to hit the winter months. Usually that means colder weather as we battle with the elements wrapped up in warm clothes.

However, as the final month of winter begins a glow of optimism carries us forward as we approach the spring season of March and beyond.

The warmer weather brings echoes of calmer sounds and this makes us consider peaceful classical music to comfort us in these uncertain times.

On Wednesday February 1st 2023 The Halle Orchestra will be performing a medley of well - known pieces at The Blackburn King Georges Hall from 7.30pm.
