But what about the old school hits. The tracks your parent’s generation moved to as they shimmied across the dance floor.

On Sunday December 4th 2022 – The Continental pub on South Meadow Lane Preston is inviting you to ‘Shake Yer Hips!’…

The fun kicks off from 2pm till 8pm with resident DJS –

DAVE HAMER, STEVE WILDE, RONNIE BROWN and JIMMY NOBLE

They’ll be playing a variety of tracks from your favourite artists from back in the day ranging from –

• Ska / BlueBeat
• Northern Soul
• 60s soul
• Mod

• Disco

It’s £5 admission on the door.             

This is going to be a brilliant afternoon and evening of cracking tunes on vinyl that will take you back to a time when Mick Jagger was a youthful man and the best jeans you could get was a pair of flares from the local charity shop.
