Watching a nature documentary is a compelling experience. You sit patiently as you view scenes of breath-taking magnificence. You wonder how the filmmaker managed to captured such amazing shots.

Watching a music documentary is a very different experience. You are glued to the screen as the narrator reveals information about your favourite artist. You are transfixed by the images of their performances as you begin to dust off your old vinyl records once again.

Doc ‘n Roll Film Festival 2022 is currently being shown at HOME – Arts Venue in Manchester. It concludes Sunday 13th November.
