The naming of a band has to be identified with their music. For example, ‘Led Zeppelin’ denotes a heavy rock sound airplane landing. Other examples include-‘Oasis’ an indie escapism from the norm. Or the band’s inspiration ‘The Beatles’ – a simple 60’s sounding beat played by the fab four.

However, when it comes to ‘Rob Heron And The Tea Pad Orchestra’ – this conjures up images of Sunday afternoons drinking tea and listening to rock and roll and swing music on vinyl.

Leading man Rob and his band have been around for the past decade. Their music combines a mix of genres and a series of influences to create an original sound that only their fans can identify with.

They’ve performed at a number of festivals and had their music played on established radio stations.

On Sunday 13th November 2022 Rob Heron And The Tea Pad Orchestra will be doing a live set at The Continental pub – South Meadow Lane – Preston from 7.30pm -10.30pm.
