There have been many different interpretations of the classic Peter Pan story. One of the most treasured is the 1991 film simply called ‘Hook’. It features the late Robin Williams who plays a man forgotten about his childhood heroic adventures but he has to remember that he is Peter Pan in order to save his children from the evil clutches of Captain Hook played fantastically by Dustin Hoffman.

Now over 30 years since that came to cinemas, organisers can confidently introduce a new theatrical production. Saltmine Theatre Company presents ‘Neverland’.

It will be performed by a cast of professional actors and actresses on Saturday 7th January 2023 at The Grand venue in Clitheroe. It’s an afternoon showing with the doors open from 2pm.

Tickets are available to book from the following website link -

You’ll also be able to read the plot of the production and a fantastic reaction from one happy viewer.

Even if you’re not a child when you watch this, you can still be a big kid at heart. Like Robin Williams he used his imagination to be able to recall his youthful skills. We too can remember our childhood to appreciate the simplicity and talent of this uplifting show.
