Open Mic Night

Location: The Continental Pub - Preston

If you’re starting out on the journey to become a professional musician, stand- up comic or performance poet you need to cut your teeth as it were in a  place where you will be appreciated and applauded for your work. A place where you’ll meet like- minded individuals who are on the similar journey as you.

On the first Thursday of every month comes The Continental Open Mic Night. It’s an ideal opportunity to present your work and gain some positive feedback from the audience.

The next open mic will be held on Thursday September 1st 2022 from 8pm -11pm. Hosts James and Typhaine will assure you of your slot or you may prefer to watch and listen.

The evening will be held in the snug room of the pub and it is a free entry – all are welcome, but seating is limited- first come, first served!

Please note, however the following COVID-19 guidelines –

• Please don’t attend if you have symptoms
• Use your own mic wherever possible
• Use your own jack lead for instruments wherever possible
• The in-house equipment will be sanitised between performances
• Due to extra cleaning that is required we may not have time for all performances

Organisers though want you to enjoy the evening so please don’t let these guidelines put you off.

It’s been described as the friendliest and best open mic night in town so get yourself down there and support Preston’s talented artists.
