‘Farewell Glastonbury!’ Could have been the words legendary Beatle Sir Paul McCartney hollered out to his sea of fans as he left the stage of the world renowned festival.

However, his influence on a young generation of musicians continues to spread. Artists are revealing that the birthplace of ‘Macca’ is introducing some new talent into the mainstream.

On Thursday 28th July 2022 The Cavern Club Live Lounge invites you to ‘Farewell Liverpool’.

Three upcoming musicians will be lighting up the stage from 7.30pm. It will be an ideal opportunity to welcome these new artists as they enter the world of the music business.

When Sir Paul McCartney left the Glastonbury arena many felt like it was his swansong and final goodbye. Whether or not this marks the first of his last performances remains to be seen but the Cavern Club is determined to continue his legacy by the high level of talent that enters the building.
