Cinema at The Continental

Location: The Continental Pub - South Meadow Lane - Preston.

It’s quite easy to visit your local cinema and watch the latest blockbuster but what about supporting evenings where you can enjoy more underground, classic and cult films in the comfort of an established pub in the Lancashire district.

Every other Tuesday The Continental pub on South Meadow Lane, Preston hosts a film night in honour of  those of us who prefer the hidden gems from a selection of films that will relax you after a busy day at work.

The next ‘Cinema at The Continental’ takes place this coming Tuesday July 19th 2022 from 7pm – 9.40pm. Interested ones should make their way to the dedicated event space, ‘The Boatyard’.

The choice of films on offer will be as varied as the drinks available in the bar. For the first screening the film has been selected, but subsequently there will be  a vote system that gives you the choice of three films, the film with the highest amount of votes is then selected for the next screening!

Recommendations are always encouraged.

Why spend all that money at major cinema venues when you can have a reasonable fee at a local, more relaxed place to escape and unwind to.
