Legendary Beatle  Sir Paul McCartney recently headlined Glastonbury  in a three hour set that  reminded us all why we all love  him so much.

At 80 there appears to be no sign of slowing down as the oldest headline act to perform at the established festival  he took us through a greatest hits concert from old school Beatles, to his time in The Wings and finally solo material that had everyone applauding the great Beatle.

The moving moment came when Macca joined Lennon on a duet of their song ‘I’ve Got a Feeling’ thanks to the magic of film director Peter Jackson who helped put together The Beatles ‘Get Back’ movie.

Now in 2022, we all know John Lennon and George Harrison are both no longer with us but a tribute act as the next best thing  will once again remind us of these 60’s giants in classic music history.

The Mersey Beatles will be performing the fab four’s iconic hits on Saturday 3rd September from 7.30pm at The Blackburn King George’s Hall.
