Sometimes in life you meet special people who are determined to leave an indelible mark long after they are gone. They may have contributed to a charity organisation or they may have been a champion of local live music acts.

 

That last statement rings true with Ribble Valley music pioneer Matt Evans. Matt contributed to bringing a lot of Lancashire based musicians to the forefront of the industry. When news broke out of his untimely death many were shocked and saddened knowing what  a selfless young man he really was. 

 

Solar Cymbals has put together an event at The Grand venue in Clitheroe a place close to Matt’s heart. The live music evening will take place on Friday 17th June 2022. 

 

Off the wall band Henge are scheduled to play as is well reported band Good Foxy. Take a look at their rocked out single ‘High Watt’ in advance of the evening:-

The event is aimed at celebrating the life of Matt Evans and show our deepest gratitude for the work he did locally. They will be an after party at The Old School Rooms. 

 

Tickets are priced £10 and £5 for under 18’s. All proceeds will go towards completing the ‘Forest Stage’ at Gisburn Forest. You can book online at the following website link:-
