Cinema at The Continental

Have you recently visited your local cinema and anticipated the forthcoming movies when the heading ‘The following trailers have been selected to be appropriate for this film’ reads across the centre of the big screen?

 

No doubt you have. Just imagine what trailers would feature if it related to the last couple of years of our lives. We’ve just witnessed a global pandemic so that would be a high profile drama. Recent energy prices soaring could be a social realism film. Conflict abroad would be a war biopic. 

 

This forthcoming Tuesday April 12th 2022 you can attend ‘Cinema at the Continental’ at South Meadow Lane pub - Preston from 7pm - 9.30pm. 

 

There are no fancy trailers just pure unadulterated escapism in the dedicated space ‘The Boatyard’.

 

It takes place every other Tuesday with the films on offer touching the following genres:-

The feature film has already been selected. Subsequently, however there will be a voting system which will give those attending the choice of three films, the film with the highest amount of votes is then selected for the next screening. 

 

Recommendations are strongly encouraged.
