Radical Landscapes

Radical Landscapes

Dates: 05 May 2022 - 04 Sep 2022

Location: The Tate - Liverpool

Two years ago our lives had to immediately adjust. As resilient humans we found serenity in the outside world. Making use of local parks and connecting with nature.

Running from 5th May - 4th September 2022 you can experience an inspiring exhibition  held at Tate Liverpool.

‘Radical Landscapes’ features the following :-
  • Ruth Ewans’s Back to the Fields 2015 - an installation of live plants
  • Jeremy Deller’s green neon Cerne Abbas sculpture
  • Tacita Dean’s Majesty 2006
  • Oceans Apart 1989 by Ingrid Pollard
  • Anwar Jalal Shemza’s Apple Tree 1962
This exhibition introduces rural spaces as sites of artistic inspiration and action, and a heartland for ideas of freedom, mysticism and rebellion.

The exhibition comes at a time when the Covid-19 pandemic has made us all re-evaluate our relationship with the landscape, the accessibility of green space and the profound human need to connect and commune with land and nature.
