When a professional Scottish businessman and music industry executive gives his nod of approval for a new band you can be sure they are destined to set waves of excitement in the music press.

Alan McGee co-founded independent Creation Records label, running it from 1983 - 1999. Over the years he has championed acts such as :-

The Jesus and Mary Chain
Primal Scream
My Bloody Valentine
Oasis
The Libertines

Now a new label has been formed ‘Creation23’ and Alan has big plans for a band that are a far cry from what their name may refer.

Shambolics are a Fife four piece band and have already created quite a storm in some of Scotland’s most established venues.
