Lancaster Litfest 2022

It’s been discussed in great length by naturalist David Attenbourough and his potential successor environmental activist Greta Thunberg. 

 

Yes, the state of this planet is real danger. How we look after it now will have a knock on effect for future generations to come. 

 

However, not all of us can go abroad in the hope of saving this planet. We can, though, create words of fiction as a way of expressing how feel about the place we call home. 

 

From Tuesday 8th March - Sunday 20th March - Lancaster Litfest is back for it’s 43rd time. The 2022 experience will feature another exciting line up of live talks and workshops, presented online and in person at a variety of venues around Lancaster. 

 

In the light of COP-26 and the climate crisis, the theme of this year’s Lit Fest is, “This Place, This Planet”.

 

Here are some things to look forward to :-

Organisers are striving to make almost all of the events (Covid permitting) to take place in - person and online. This creates the freedom of movement to  explore both  the digital and real world we find ourselves in.
