Whose Tradition

When an artist creates a painting they deeply consider the cultural climate around them. This helps them draw on the  unique interpretations of how they perceive the world and life around it. 

 

‘Whose Tradition’ is an exhibition on display at the Tate Liverpool now until 11th September 2022. 

 

You will see work on display by the following artists:-

Although these artists differ in race and nationality they share a creative vision that is inspired by their cultural heritage.

This exhibition seeks to reveal the imaginative concepts derived from the constrasting cultures these artists are born into.
