These days you have to be different if you want longevity in the music business. Artists are finding new and credible ways to create music and it may mean taking one genre and performing it in a re-imagined way. 
 
Award winning Scottish trumpeter Colin Steele has won fans all over Europe with his original take on folk music and interpreting it into jazz. His recent version of songs have honoured legendary singer -songwriter, Joni Mitchell.

Colin has been best  described as the Sibelius of Scotland but on Thursday 24th March 2022 he’ll be taking on The Grand venue in Clitheroe from 7pm sharp.

Colin’s approach is to not stray too far from the original song. His vision is to look for beauty and create tunes that glow and  sparkle with warmth and affection. 
 
It’s a beautiful concept that many musicians couldn’t create but with a full backing band he is able to deliver on his promise and entertain the audience until  the last clap has applauded his talent.
