The Ferret Tuesday Showcase + Open Mic - with special guests: Crossbill

A celebrated pub in the heart of Preston city centre has been championing new music for a considerable number of years. They reached a brief setback due to the pandemic but recently  places have been gradually opening up again and they’re delighted to welcome back the public and engage with an audience of music lovers who appreciate new and original musicians and visiting bands. 

 

This forthcoming Tuesday February 1st 2022 The Ferret on Fylde Road, Preston is hosting a Showcase and Open Mic - With Special Guests - Crossbill. 

 

The usual open mic slot is an opportunity to introduce starting musicians on the career ladder as they perform their own set of songs. You will experience an exciting mix of new and established players, delivering some of their worked classics. 

 

Please note - The Open Mic slots take place at 7pm so arrive early to get your slot. 

 

In addition to the talent evening you’ll also get the chance to watch Crossbill - an acoustic indie pop band from Preston. They have similarities to Belle and Sebastian with their simple, melodic formular which creates the perfect backdrop to the open mic night. 

 

The evening is expected to conclude at 11pm and you’ll no doubt be discussing with your friends the high quality of musicians who performed on the night.
