The Continental Open Mic

Location: The Continental Pub - South Meadow Lane - Preston
22 months later from the start of the global pandemic when our lives were turned upside down, when we couldn’t see loved ones and when going to your local pub meant ordering food and drinks at your table.
Even now in 2022 people are cautious about visiting social events. The upcoming open mic at The Continental is exercising caution and when performers do a rendition of songs or comic verse, a portion of the the audience might be wearing masks whilst the performer is unbeknown if they appreciate their act or not.
Yes it all takes place Thursday February 3rd 2022 from 8pm till 11pm in the snug area of the much loved Lancashire pub. Entrance is free and all are welcome, but seating is limited so first come, first served!

The evening however does come with some guidance….
- Please don’t attend if you have symptoms
- Use your own mic wherever possible
- Use your own jack lead for instruments wherever possible
- The in-house equipment will be sanitised between performances
- Due to extra cleaning that is require there may not be time for all the performances.
Organisers though want you to enjoy the acts and see the new wave of local and established talent in Preston.
