Speaking Through Love with Sharon Hayes

Dates: 16 Feb 2022 - 16 Feb 2022

Location: Online via Zoom

In 1993 the Eurodance artist Haddaway hollered out from the rooftops,
 ‘What is Love?’

It’s a question that’s been on the minds for many people for nearly 30 years. An event soon to take place seeks to answer this concept as an online experience.

‘Speaking Through Love with Sharon Hayes’ will be delivered via zoom on 16th February 2022 from 6.30pm -8pm.

Philadelphia based artist Sharon Hayes’ work ‘Everything Else Has Failed! Don’t You Think It’s Time For Love?’ will be the  backbone behind a talk which will consider the subjects of love, art and politics.

Chaired by So Mayer the event will seek to explore the following questions:-
  • What does it mean to speak through love?
  • What role does love play in artistic practice?
  • What can collective love do?
‘Everything Else Has Failed! Don’t You Think It’s Time For Love?’ is currently exhibited at The Tate Modern in Room 1 of Performer and Participant.

Tickets cost £5 and are available to book at the following website link:-
