Exhibition - Creative Share - Excellent, Exciting, Endless Possibilities

When a team of creative individuals are put together the results are quite amazing. Although perceived by the outside world as different these artists have learnt to use their condition to their advantage. 

 

An exhibition running now until Saturday 15th January 2022 is taking place at the Manchester Craft and Design Centre. ‘Creative Share - Excellent, Exciting, Endless Possibilities’ brings together a showcase of craft work created by the participants of Pure Art Studio's inaugural residency programme.

 

Pure Art Studio is part of Pure Innovations, a registered charity that supports people with a learning disability or autism to create fulfilled lives with a sense of purpose and belonging. Pure Art Studio offers a place where people with a learning disability and an interest in art can develop their skills and thrive. 

 

The exhibition seeks to promote the positive artistic work the  following people have contributed to over the course of 2 years:-

Throughout the last couple of years, the artists at Pure Art Studio and artist in residence Laura Negus have worked collaboratively to create an outstanding collection of work. Each artist has taken a slice of inspiration from their own personal lives which includes their interests and experiences. They have formed a bond for their appreciation of clay as a medium for connecting us.

Creative Share is supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England. 

 

The exhibition is free to visit and is open to the public Monday - Saturday - 10am - 5.30pm and Sundays throughout December 11am - 5pm.
