Location: The Continental Pub- South Meadow Lane - Preston
Whilst the big shots are dominating the pop and rock charts the humble minded musicians amongst us prefer more of a low key approach yet still finding an audience to appreciate their music.
On the first Thursday of every month The Continental on South Meadow Lane Preston celebrates the local talent who have the courage to perform either:-
- A medley of songs on guitar
- A vocal rendition in the form of a ballad
- A stand - up comic act
- A profound spoken word moment
Hosted by James and Typhaine this friendly Open Mic Night encourages all to take part. The next evening will be this Thursday 2nd December 2021 from 8pm till 11pm in The Snug.
Entrance is free and everybody welcome, however seating is limited;- first come, first served!
Here are the safety guidelines for those wishing to perform:-
- Please don’t attend if you have symptoms
- Use your own mic wherever possible
- Use your own jack lead for instruments wherever possible
- The in-house equipment will be sanitised between performances
- Due to extra cleaning that is required there may not be time for all performances
Despite these precautionary measures organisers want you to come along and sample some of the finest under-the-radar talent Preston has to offer!
