Scribble - Creative Writing Group

Location: The Continental Pub - South Meadow Lane - Preston
Have you identified a talent you didn’t know you had during the lockdown periods? You may have attempted to develop a new or already existing skill yet lack the confidence in order for it to be a success.
‘Scribble’ is a creative writing group that meets on the last Tuesday of every month in the Snug at The Continental pub on South Meadow Lane, Preston.
Attendance is free but you must display an appreciation for reading and writing.
Here are the top five subjects often touched on in each meeting:-
- Poems
- Short stories
- Flash fiction
- Daft limericks
- Fantastic new kids’ stories.
The session is open to everyone from complete beginner to literary pro. You will meet like - minded individuals who will offer constructive and useful feedback in order for you to advance in your writing technique.
Your fellow writers will introduce you to locally based arts and writing events. You may even be the person to organise a culturally based event for the group to go to.
