Atlantic Contemporary Art & Haworth Art Gallery

Atlantic Contemporary Art & Haworth Art Gallery

Dates: 19 Nov 2021 - 27 Feb 2022

Location: Accrington

Do you remember your childhood? For some of us it remains a distant memory, for others we recall the first time we picked up a paintbrush and realised we had an inherent love of art. It may have been some time before we could develop these skills but as young adults we had the chance  shine in the career we only  dreamt about as a child.

From Friday 19th November 2021 - Sunday 27th February 2022 you are invited to the Atlantic Contemporary Art  & Haworth Art Gallery collaborative exhibition in Accrington  which includes   work by art students from a local school.

In this joint showcase you will be able to experience artists from Atlantic Contemporary Art who will be in attendance to explain the progression in their career.

You will see works by:-
  • The National Portrait Gallery
  • Sky Portrait Artist of the Year
  • Royal Academy Summer Show
  • BP Portrait Prize Exhibition
  • The National Open Art Prize
In addition, QEGS will have their own gallery room exhibiting  a series of works by the students. Head of the Creative Faculty Mr TD Birtwistle will open the room with a talk on how the room was curated.

If you’re visiting for the first tine you’ll be in awe of the world famous Tiffany Glass collection whilst you sip on a cup of tea in the restaurant.

Atlantic Contemporary Art is an international contemporary art fair and touring exhibition offering access to high quality contemporary artists with award winning works; all of which are for sale.
