Cinema at The Continental

During the lockdown periods staying in was the new going out. Rewatching old box sets of classic TV shows or enjoying a vintage film you enjoyed as a child helped all of us get through the worst time of this pandemic. 

 

Normality is kind of appearing now but with booster jabs and cases rising, we’re certainly not out of the woods yet. 

 

Despite this, a local pub is welcoming back the public to their fortnightly event which aims to create a sense of escapism amidst a troubled world. 

 

‘Cinema at The Continental’ will next take place Tuesday November 16th 2021 - 7pm - 10pm. Interested ones should make their way to the dedicated event space, ‘The Boatyard’. 

 

A vote system is implemented which gives you the choice of three films, the film with the highest amount of votes is then selected for the next screening.
