October is known in the Lancashire region as a wet, wild and windy month. The rain coming down on a daily basis, the leaves sweeping across your path as you walk to work.
Why not swap this chilly month for the warm surroundings of the St. George the Martyr Church - Lune Street - Preston.
Once a month a fantastic classical concert appeals to an appreciative audience who watch in awe as accomplished musicians take to the stage and perform a set of classical favourites.
On Wednesday 13th October 2021 it’s the turn of the Victoria String Quartet. They’ll be doing a rendition of the following:-
- Puccini
- Mendelssohn
- Dvorak
It will be an hour duration from 1pm till 2pm. Admission is £13 on the door, programme notes included.
