Have you ever wondered where experts such as Brian Cox found their inspiration to begin a lifelong journey in their profession?
 
On Saturday 23rd October UCLAN, in the heart of Preston city centre is opening it’s doors for the ninth year for another exciting run of the Lancashire Science Festival. 
 
The registration desk and show floors will open at 9am with the fun filled exploration kicking off at 10am. Families can soak up the environment in the following five subjects:-
  • Science
  • Technology
  • Engineering 
  • Maths
  • Health
This event is designed to inspire the next generation of scientists. It will feature electrifying shows, fantastic workshops, exciting exhibits and hands-on activities. 
 
Two of the major highlights include an bubbles and balloons show and an astronomy stand attempting to simulate a moonwalk via a virtual reality headset.
 
On the interactive show- floors, young ones will be able to investigate the world around us or step into new ones with Minecraft workshops.
