The Blackpool World Fireworks Championships 2021

The longest day has been and gone, summer is drifting away and autumn has arrived. That means the nights will be drawing in soon leaving us with darker afternoons and evenings . But there are some fantastic events coming up that’ll entertain everyone.
The Blackpool World Fireworks Championships 2021 are coming to the North West. Here’s everything you need to know….
The stunning displays are set to music and will take place on alternate Saturday evenings and climax with a showcase event by one of Europe’s leading fireworks companies, Titanium.
The following dates are when Blackpool will be lit up :-
- Saturday - September 25th :-Ireland - 7.30pm
- Saturday - October 9th :- Germany - 7.30pm
- Saturday October 23rd - Celebratory display and winners announcement from Titanium Fireworks - 7.30pm.
Admission is completely free and it will take place over the beach in front of Blackpool tower. Visitors are encouraged to travel to the event as early as possible and make use of the part and ride facility at Blackpool Airport.

Thousands are expected to watch the highly anticipated showcase whilst also enjoying the annual illuminations so people are being warned of an increase in traffic delays.
You can also experience a celebratory fireworks display coming to Blackpool Pleasure Beach to mark it’s 125th anniversary. This will take place on November 6th and will co-incide with the bonfire night events also happening across the region.
