Open Mic Night

News broke out recently that a certain reality TV show has been axed. This no doubt brought much relief to the real musicians of this world. These are the ones that have really  grafted their sound and  don’t need to go down the commercial route to find both success and happiness. It all boils down to contentment and if you can perform to an intimate audience and still find joy in playing then that’s all that matters. 

 

This Thursday - August 5th - you’re invited to The Continental’s Open Mic Night. It will take place in the snug area of the pub and potential acts and the interested public should start coming in at 8pm and quietly wrap up around 11pm. 

 

Hosted by James and Typhaine they invite  all to come along and share a song, play an instrument, perform spoken word or comedy. There is no pressure and the audience will encourage you as you recite your set. 

 

Entrance is free - all are welcome but seating is limited so it’s based on a first come, first served state of play.

If we abide by these measures we can have a safe evening with friends and family and enjoy the local  talent here in the city of Preston, Lancashire.
