Cloudspotting Music and Arts Festival 2021

Cloudspotting Music and Arts Festival 2021

Dates: 23 Jul 2021 - 25 Jul 2021

Location: Stephen Park, Gisburn Forest, Dalehead, Lancashire.

11 years ago the wildlife at Gisburn Forest in the summer of 2010 had a very peaceful time. However, by 2011 a particular music festival gatecrashed their tranquillity with some deafening sounds much to the annoyance of the new born chicks that nestled in the tree where it all took place.

Now it is back following a decade of fantastic summer performances. ‘Cloudspotting Music and Arts Festival 2021’ is returning to Stephen Park, Gisburn Forest, Dalehead, Lancashire this forthcoming weekend - Friday 23rd July - Sunday 25th July - 12noon - 12pm.

The award -wining ‘micro’ festival (winner of ‘Best Small Event’ in the 2017 Lancashire Tourism Awards) is renowned for its DIY ethos and the incredible friendliness of the audience, staff and volunteers.

The organisers have presented a festival which delivers on the following promises:-
  • Crosses borders
  • Encourages participation
  • Champions ingenuity
  • Promotes independence
  • Seeks a DIY spirit
Cloudspotting is a welcoming festival and community - a back to nature experience for a many people. It is ideal for first time young festival going families or perhaps the more experienced reveller who prefers the more low-key environment as opposed to the larger UK festival scene.

This year’s line up is a truly international affair. Acts include the following:-
  • Bill Ryder Jones
  • Jeffrey Lewis and Los Bolts (US)
  • The Breath, ICHI(Japan)
  • The Burning Hell (Canada)
