Martin Stephenson and The Daintees

We all need some light relief especially after the last year we’ve all had to cope with. As places begin to return to some form of normality this forthcoming Monday it will mean events that were cancelled due to the pandemic are now safely open to the public domain. 

 

Martin Stephenson and The Daintees have been an established music act since the late 1980s/early 90s. They are still producing excellent music and Preston is delighted to have them play at a popular music venue. 

 

The group were originally scheduled to perform at The Continental on South Meadow Lane on 14th May but circumstances meant this proved difficult. They are, however returning to the pub this forthcoming Friday 23rd July 2021 from 8pm -11pm. 

 

Front-man Martin has experienced a run of successful solo shows in which he performs songs old and new, stories sad and funny and guitar playing that will impress your musical eye. 

 

The poet and the comedian in perfect synergy; an evening out that will gladden the heart in these uncertain times.
