UCLAN Degree Show Launch 2021

Whilst the rest of us were wearing face coverings, keeping two metres apart and avoiding hugs and handshakes, the students at UCLAN were preparing for the annual exhibition of their work.
The fruits of their labours will see the light of day from Thursday 17th June 2021. It will begin with the Degree Show Launch available online. It will be a two hour programme beginning at 4pm and concluding at 6pm.
There are five categories, each sponsored by a member of the creative industries who will announce the names of the winners during the event. Winners will each receive an exciting placement, mentoring, or support opportunity from their sponsor.
Categories are:
- Frontier IP Group plc Award for Craft
- Creative Lancashire Award for Enterprise
- Preen Award for Insight
- The Super Slow Way Award for Society and Sustainability
- FYC Award for Technology Innovation
The event will be streamed through You Tube you will then be directed to the Degree Show website.
The presentation will also include some celebratory words from the following people:-
- Vice-Chancellor, Professor Graham Baldwin
- Turner Prize Winner, Professor Lubaina Himid CBE
- Executive Dean, Jane Anthony as compere

This will be a celebration of the talent and hard work of UCLAN students which takes place annually in association with Creative Lancashire.
