Let’s Grow Preston National Open Garden Scheme

Dates: 11 Jun 2021 - 11 Jun 2021

Location: Grange Community Garden

I think we’d all agree that May has been a really wet month and as summer is fast approaching we’re all longing for better weather so that we can be out in our gardens and enjoy the sunshine with friends and family.

On Saturday 12th June 2021 Let’s Grow Preston is hosting a National Open Garden Scheme at Grange Community Garden. It will take place between the hours of 12noon till 4pm.

When you attend you can experience a wonderful environment including:-
  • Large poly tunnels
  • Vegetable and herbaceous beds
  • Orchard
  • Outdoor kitchen
  • Pond
  • Various willow structures
The staff and volunteers will be around to share with you the diverse range of plants they have grown. In addition, there will be an outdoor pizza oven designed to make your own pizza. You can enjoy a variety of tea cakes, crafty things such as dried flower arrangements and nature based workshops.

It’s £4 to enter with all proceeds going to the national open garden scheme. These  much needed funds will help provide support to nursing and health charities in a year of crisis and supported charities doing fantastic work in gardens and health.
