The Pendle Dalesman

Have you ever travelled on a train and found yourself falling asleep and missing your stop? Perhaps it was due to the  boring backdrop of the buildings, or it could be in response to the lack of company you were experiencing during your trip. 

 

From Tuesday 18th May - Tuesday 21st September 2021 you can enjoy a much more exciting ride on board the ‘Pendle Dalesman’. Each day will begin at 9am and conclude at 5pm. The train will take off from Preston Train Station. 

 

You will be able to experience a vintage train service which have been used throughout the golden age of rail. Note too that some of them have appeared in the classic Harry Potter movies and have now been lovingly restored for your delectation. These traditional carriages will be hauled by a newly restored steam locomotive from your departure points.
