In 2011 a fantastic building was built which rested off the A59 road in Preston. Over the years it’s become a ‘go-to’ place for families and children as they enjoy the pleasant area for walks and the eatery inside. It is of course Brockholes Nature Reserve.

On Wednesday 28th April 2021 you could be part of an online experience which looks back over it’s ten year longevity. ‘Brockholes Wildlife - Ten Wonderful Years’ will be an hour duration from 6pm -7pm. Brockholes Reserve Officer Lorna Bennett will be guiding you through the hour programme as she reflects on the positive influence the reserve has had in the community. 
 
You will also learn about the vast number of species on the site as well as the conservation work taking place throughout the year that allows the wildlife to thrive on this wonderful reserve.
