Since 1980 the film industry has seen some fantastic movies on the big screen. From superheroes to time travel and from historical dramas to hysterical spoofs.
It was during this time that the Kendal Mountain Film Festival was launched and now to celebrate their 40th anniversary this year it is taking place online. It will be a ten day event series that you can view at your leisure with a choice of ticket options.
Taking place from this Thursday 19th - Sunday 29th November 2020. You could be part of this amazing, digital experience that is uniquely characterized by the classic Kendal spirit and vibe.
The main stage will feature the following:-

- An array of incredible authors
- 15 different themed curations featuring the latest adventure and environmental films
- Family-friendly content
Plus all the buzz and atmosphere of the legendary activity-focused sessions - live-streamed and available on-demand to your screen.
In total, there will be over 200 films, 15 specialist sessions and more than 30 literature talks in just 10 days!
