Introduction to Equity Investment for Lancashire SMEs - 3rd September 2020

Have you ever been transfixed by the stock markets? If so then equity investment could be for you. But how do you get into it and how can you find help from experienced professionals?

 

On Thursday 3rd September 2020 UCLAN are hosting a virtual programme entitled ‘Introduction to Equity Investment for Lancashire SMEs’.

 

The session is expected to run from 9am till 2pm and will cover the following subjects:-

It will be delivered by experienced investors who will help to broaden the horizons of equity finance and prepare ambitious businesses with growth potential to apply for much needed investment.

 

If you are currently seeking equity investment for your business or wish to gain valuable insight into the investment process in preparation for your personal future then this programme is suitable for you. 

 

Please note:- The event and programme are funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and so is only eligible to Lancashire based SME's seeking investment into their business. 

 

Upon receiving your Eventbrite booking request, the team will contact you to confirm eligibility and liaise with you about registering for the programme in advance of attending.

 

In order to process the Investment Readiness programme you will be expected to attend a one day workshop. Once you have submitted a business plan and pitchdeck you will be invited to attend a “practice pitching” event. If deemed necessary, introductions will be forwarded to an investor network. One to one assistance from experienced investors and supplementary specialist workshops are also available.

 

Numbers on the workshop are limited. If, for any reason you cannot attend please allow 48 hours notice of cancellation to allow your place to be re-allocated or save catering costs.
