Free Seminar - Measuring Inter-generational Community Connections

The Centre for Citizenship and Community at UCLan is delighted to invite you and/or a representative from your organisation to our first seminar event of the year - Measuring inter-generational community connections: impact evaluation in the age of new power - taking place on Thursday 30th January at 4pm – 5:30pm in the Allen Building (Medical School) AL004. This seminar will consider the impact of bringing young professionals and older people together to tackle loneliness and social isolation in ways that benefit both groups. Founder and CEO of The Cares Family organisation and Obama Fellow, Alex Smith, will discuss his organisation's approach to evaluating the impact of inter-generational community initiatives – sharing what The Cares Family has learned, how they've learned it, and why a more holistic approach is important.
