Understanding Resilience In The Face Of Adversity

UCLan Criminal Justice Partnership are pleased to be hosting a free interactive half-day workshop around ‘Understanding Resilience in the Face of Adversity’, on Wednesday 28 November, 9:00 am – 12:30pm in the Creative Innovation Zone, Media Factory, on the UCLan campus. There will be interdisciplinary talks on adverse childhood experiences, resilience and positive changes after trauma, and emotional intelligence.

 

This will be a great opportunity for practitioners, commissioners, service providers, the voluntary sector and researchers who are interested in promoting strengths-based approaches, resilience and wellbeing, and will provide a space to explore key shared priorities and opportunities to collaborate. Tea and coffee will be provided.
