Feast For Peace 2018

Feast For Peace 2018

Dates: 11 Nov 2018 - 11 Nov 2018

Location: Preston Market

The Larder are running Feast for Peace on 11th November this year to coincide with Armistice Day centenary celebrations marking the commencement of peace.

They plan to raise awareness of the similarities between the key food messages of then and now.

  • On the Lancaster Road end of the new Preston Market
  • Chefs and choppers will be on site from 10.30 ready to serve food from 12 noon to around 3pm – helpers very welcome!
  • They'll make pumpkin soup and hopefully other pumpkin foods too – toasted seeds, pie, juice – so please get involved and have fun being creative!
  • They are likely to have some chefs cooking up food from some of Preston’s diverse communities too. Again, offers to get involved are very welcome
  • Not a foodie person but with a talent for music, dance and/or song? They'd be delighted to hear from you…entertainment at previous Feasts has always been very highly appreciated.

If you’ve already been in touch offering to help  - thank you and we’ll be in touch directly.

If you’d like to help out in some way please let us know as soon as possible – thank you. Offers of help whether large or small are all greatly appreciated.
