Cello And Piano Recital

~Looking for a piece of escapism from the fast paced life of the outside world? Needing a quiet space for an hour to be filled with people who appreciate the arts in all it’s glory?

This Wednesday ( 15th February 2017) between 1-2pm at The Minster on Church Street Preston will be a tranquil period of classical music in the form of  Ella Rundle and Gamal Khamis. They will be performing the cello and the piano.

The classically composed musicians will be  marking the 150th birthday of Frederick Delius by playing his Sonata for Cello. The following two pieces include the complete Suite Espagnol for unaccompanied cello by the Spanish composer Rogelio Huguet y Tagell and, in fine conclusion the cello version of Franck's Sonata in A.
 

This is in conjunction with The Harris Music Club and brought to you by the organiser Tom Costich. Cost of admission on the door is priced at £10 and it is an open seating arrangement.
