~London’s National Gallery, Liverpool’s Tate and now Preston’s Harris have all exhibited some of the most iconic and beautiful works of art for the past three decades.

This Friday ( 27th January 2017 ) till Saturday ( 3rd June ) The Harris is exhibiting the works of Martin Creed. He is described as one of the most influential and exciting British artists today. Martin’s work combines sculpture, neon, painting, video and  performance. In 2001 he was awarded the Turner Prize and in 2012 he was specifically chosen to welcome the London Olympics staging a performance that saw him bell-ringing and bike riding.

His 2017 exhibition includes work from his 1999 period ‘Everything is Going to be alright’ which is also on the front of the Grade 1 listed Harris Building. He will also showcase ‘Don’t Worry’ 2008 Artist Rooms.

Martin’s unique set of art pieces will be able to viewed for the next six months from 10am - 5pm starting this Friday 27th January 2017.
