Many people are commemorating the centenary of the First World War be it through art or music. The New Continental however is providing a unique look into the in the 1914 war with the showing of a film.
The North West film archive have kindly provided us with a revealing insight of the horrors of war with ’ The First World War, Life on the Home Front in North West England’.
Narrated by Maxine Peake watch the hostility and the fragility of those who fought and the lives that were lost in World War One.
Professional and amateur film makers capture this dramatic and dark tale that will make you appreciate our fallen soldiers and the past generations that fought in the 1914 great war.
Doors open 7pm for a 7.30pm start on Wednesday 3rd September. Tickets £5.
