~On the surface a lesson on the process of cotton production in Lancashire could seem like a boring subject. If, however it is brought to life as a theatrical dance piece it may project a more exciting concept than a reader’s  first reaction.

This Saturday ( 21st January 2017) between the hours of 11am - 3.15pm the Harris Museum and Art Gallery in Preston, Lancashire is inviting all interested ones to attend this unique production on the subject of cotton.

From AbouTime Dance Company, ‘Cotton’ will see a series of professional dancers portray the art of cotton making backed by a composition by Lee Affen and specialised choreographed moves by Jenny Reeves, performed locally by students of Cardinal Newman College.

Each performance will be 15 minutes and will showcase three in total throughout the late morning/early afternoon :

11am - 11.15pm
1pm - 1.15pm
3pm - 3.15pm.
