A subject to determine a monthly poetry night needs to be one which can paint a vivid picture in your mind, poems which stir the imagination and make you sit up and listen.

As part of Preston Arts Festival, Damson Poets is returning to the Boatyard area of The Continental pub with the theme ‘Wonder’ which also happens to be this year’s National Poetry Day subject -Wednesday 30th September.

There will be a mixture of new and more experienced readers so it’s an evening that belongs to everyone and if you want to listen that’s great as well.

They will start taking names for reading slots from 7-15 pm. Each slot is a maximum of 5 minutes. The start time is 7-30 pm. Free Entry.
